I bought this dress at a sample sale for $1200 ($1700 if ordered) and the dress is in mint condition. It still has the tags! It definitely does not look like a sample gown, as the bridal salon had only been open a few months and it had not been tried on a lot. Ultimately, I decided to go with a different dress. However, this dress is absolutely beautiful, with really unique details. It could easily be taken in if you are a smaller size, and could potentially be converted to a lace-up back if you are a slightly larger size. I have included three pictures: one of the designers model, one of the dress on me (size 14) and one on my friend (size 8/10) so you can get an idea.
Note 1: I do not have the belt that is shown in the picture. This dress could easily be worn with a belt of your choice, which had been my plan.
Note 2: This dress comes with small spaghetti straps that attach with buttons on the inside. However, the boning and construction of the dress is significant. You wouldn't need the straps or even a bridal corset with this dress. It would hold you in!
